Well, He has done it again! Randy graduated July 10th with his MBA. We went up to Albany for the graduation.....it was very nice!! I am so proud of you Randy!!

We went to our friend Daria's this year for dinner and fireworks. She only lives about 1 block from where they set them off so it was great!! Very odd year weather wise. Normally it is so hot you can't stand it this year....not so much! We borrowed close from Daria because it was so cold! Now that is not so bad for me because we are about the same height but for Randy....it was a bit funny!!! We still had a great time despite the fact it was freezing!!

We had a storm a few weeks ago and this beautiful rainbow appeared after it...I was really close. I don't think we have ever seen one that close to us. No pot of gold.....we looked!! If you notice there is a double rainbow...very cool!!

Tim came to visit for a few weeks in June. He went to OC with some friends for 1 week and then stayed with us for the next week. I don't have any pictures from OC....humm wonder why?? It was great seeing him....we sure did miss him!!

My much older sister :-) turned 50 this year!!! Her BFF Lisa and I started planning this party months ago! I think I called Lisa in February the first time. We tried to do a surprise party...and I think it went well since we had it 2 weeks before her birthday. Lisa was amazing and made all the food and cake....I did the invites and we had a party. 2 days before the party I hurt my back and was unable to make the trip. After months of work I was very upset about it...but it all went just great!! Happy Big 50 Colleen!!!

Wow, I can't believe that it has been a month since I posted anything last. Life has been crazy and I will give you a heads up I think it's going to be that way for the next few weeks. I have hardly even taken any photos!! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!!! Anyway, here are just a few of what else...my boy's!!

Randy always says I give the boys to many table scraps but just look at this picture and you will see who they really go to!!! EVEN the cat!!!

Mikey is 15 years old and really does as little as he can. But, every day he enjoys the bird feeder right outside our window....It's really rather funny because he starts out like this then after 5 mins. he lays down and another 5 goes by and he is sleeping!! Bird watching is hard stuff!!!

Our God son Brandon was in the play Sussical Jr. last weekend....It was his very first play. He was so excited and did a fantastic job!! I was so proud of him. He said he was not nervous, I'm not sure how he wasn't because I would have been!! He wants to do more plays in the future he had such a good time. Way to go Brandon!!!

Today was cold and windy and although I have enough to keep me busy for months, I decided to go out and fly a kite!! I had a great time...me and the boys. Randy decided it was to cold for him so he took some pictures off the deck and I had a camera in my pocket. The funniest thing was Willie....He had some negative feeling for this kite. Once it was in the air he was jumping and barking most of the time. When the kite would come down and hover he would just go crazy and as you will see one time he went postal on it!! I was laughing so hard I was crying, never fear the kite did not get hurt so we can go out again with it....hopefully next time when it is a bit warmer!

Happy March 1st! I am so happy that we are closer to spring! Not that the winter here has been horrible but I am ready for longer days and warmer weather! Of course waking up this morning we had about 1 inch of snow. Oh well, it is still winter after all....so Randy and I decided to go for a hike with out the boys today. So the photos are from today and yesterday.

While hiking Randy found some deer tracks so he went up this very steep ridge and I stayed and waited down a little. So I had some time on my hands to do a little meditate, think, and of course snap a few pictures.....I only put up one of me pondering life!! ;-)

I had to make a quick trip to Wellsboro for an appointment I had on Monday so I left on Sunday afternoon....just in time for the big super bowl. Jen is a huge Steelers fan so she had a little party at her house and it was rockin'!! And you will be able to see that in these pics!!

Friends of Tim's called one night to see if Randy would like to come out and sled ride with them across the street at the church. So Randy bundled up and off he went. Here are a few pictures of the boy's. The funny part is Randy was out there maybe a 1/2 hour then came in and was saying "Oh we hit a bump and I jammed my back" "Ohh, I hit my butt too it really is hurting"....these are comments I doubt we would have heard if he were say.....15 years younger. Oh, the aches and pains of age and sled riding.

Well, we have had no school for 2 days and I am getting a little tired of being in the house. Randy was off today as well. We got maybe 5 inches of snow total but then came the sleet, and freezing rain so the snow that we had was very heavy. Randy tried to shovel the drive but it was so heavy so he got out the snow blower. Really it was a water blower today! I just think he likes to play outside! =)

This is a fence out in our back yard and you can see the ice just hanging off the fence and really everything else. Willie has been enjoying playing ball....he slides a little but he does not go thru the ice on the snow.

The past few weekends we having been taking some time out of our busy day's to go out with the boy's for a hike. They love it and so do we. The weather has not been the best in fact everytime it has rained a little but we did not care. We still had fun!

Christmas 08

This Christmas was very quiet from the last few but we still had a wonderful day. Christmas Eve we went to George and Barb's house which we always enjoy and one of my favorite gifts this year was from Barb (and George...but really Barb) She crochet us (ME) and blanket. I love it! It is beautiful and very warm. I only wish I were as talented!

And what everyone should do on a Christmas afternoon....

Every year we try and get a picture of the boys under the tree and every year the dogs think they are in hell. They must be getting use to this or I am getting better and more prepared because they did not seem to hate it as much as usual. Maybe it was the treats!! This photo was the last one and I think is my favorite.

About half way thru this Willie is looking at me like please no more!

Every year when I go up to Wellsboro to the Dickens of a Christmas I buy an ornament from Hospice in honor of my Mom and Dad. At first I bought one for each of them but now I just buy one for both. I was afraid that it would not take very long and I would have to have a tree just for these ornaments. Although it has been almost 12 years since my Dad has been gone and 5 years since my Mom has been some days it's just harder then others not having them. I don't know if they ever knew this but they were my hero's and I will forever miss them. This ornament I bought a few years ago and I think it sums it up......Forever in our hearts. And that is where they will always be. Miss you both!!

Randy went hunting for 12 days so I asked him not to shave the whole time. The Hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree!!

Ok, anyone who knows me knows that I take forever to find the "perfect" Christmas tree. But this year was different!! We found the tree in about 15 mins. Randy was in shock. I have taken over an hour in a blizzard with it -5 degrees ( that was not a good day for us) But I have to say I am very sad because I had other pictures of not only our tree but of Dickens of a Christmas that have some how disappeared from my camera . I know they were there but are gone now. I am hoping one day they re-appear but until then this is all I have. I also do not have a picture of our complete tree yet.....but it's beautiful!!!

For my birthday Our family along with the Clemens and the Copp's decided to go to Hershey park and spend the night. Of course it rained all day on Saturday so we were unable to go but we had a good time anyway. We woke up Sunday to a beautiful day. We could not go to the park though since everyone had to head home but we did get to do a little sight seeing.

Homecoming Dance

Everyone looked beautiful/handsome for the homecoming dance. And B got to wear her dress for a second time. The whole weekend was great. We surprised everyone that we were coming up and B got to go to school for the day. She liked it better then here it is a much smaller and friendlier school. It was also Taylor's birthday weekend. We started out by playing wii and then it went down hill from there!! Larry use to play the accordion so we brought the beast out (and I do mean beast) and did our best. Yesterday we had a cool front move in and with it, there was major amounts of hail. I don't remember every seeing as much. I was worried about the cars and the house but everything was ok. However, our plants took a beating. It's very sad how bad they look.

Ok, This is the final post with pictures from Germany. I didn't plan it very well so, this looks like the first post but you have to scroll down to see the beginning with all the other ones in between. I have a few more pictures that I did not add to the computer yet....but I think this is good for now. We had a great time as you can tell from the pictures and we are looking forward to returning again....in a few years.

Hallo....we have just returned from Germany where we spent about 17 days. We had a great time in this beautiful country. We saw many things while we were there but the best was seeing our "Kids" and spending time with our German family. We have 2 German families and it was great to see and even meet some of them. There is nothing like the first fresh corn on the cob of the season. So, on a whim we decided to see what the boys would do with it. And much to our surprise they liked it and did very well at eating it off the cob. It was very funny to watch.

OK, Here is a little back ground on the Tim Tam's. Tim's sister was doing a work program in Australia and for Christmas she sent him some Tim Tam's. Tim had so much candy that it took him several months to open them to eat but then offered some to me once he did. Well, I will try to describe what it was like....It was like the angels were singing!! I have never tasted anything like them before. They are crispy almost like a cookie then in the middle some cream stuff and then chocolate coated around the whole thing. But the taste....is just amazing. So, needless to say I had SEVERAL of them and almost cried when they were gone. I thought I will never taste them again. And then one day it hit me....if they sell them in Australia then I bet they would have them in New Zealand.....and why does this excite me??? Because we have very dear friends in NZ!!!! So, I sent them a message and the WONDERFUL people that they are they sent us 3 packages of them!!! I almost cried when I opened the mailbox last Friday and there was a package and I knew!! So, here is a picture of them. If you have ever had them you know what I am talking about, if you have never had them......well, I am sorry. If I was a good person I would tell you I will share....but I am not that good of a person. I would hurt someone for taking any of them!!! I really don't like to share with Randy. And if he gets out of control with them....I will hide them!!! OH YES I WILL!!! I really think that I should contact the Company that makes them and see just how we go about bringing them to the states. I will start the petition!! I do want to say to dear Keith and Sandra in NZ.....I LOVE YOU, you are the BEST!!!!!

It was Randy's birthday today so, we went out to dinner (where they sang happy birthday to him....very loudly!!) and then home to open gifts and have some pie. Yep, Randy prefers pie over cake. Happy Birthday Randy!!!

What a great weekend we had!! Friends came to visit and we went to Gettysburg to my favorite place The Dobbin House for lunch then to Boyd's bear country and then to the outlet mall. Really fun time!! Jen and I stayed up way to late the whole time but we had a lot of catching up to do.

Relay for life

This weekend was the Relay for life. This was our first year that we have been involved but certainly it will not be the last. It was a long 24 hours but it was well worth it. Our team raised over 2000.00 not bad for coming into this late in the year. Congrat's team for all your hard work!!!

Tim and I went to Gettysburg last Monday.....we had never had a chance to take him there before. We had a really good day of visiting the Battlefields, we went to lunch at my favorite restaurant The Dobbin House, and of course....shopping at the Gettysburg Outlets!!

The weather man said we were going to have bad storms and rain on and off all day but we decided to go to Hershey Park anyway with our "family" from upstate. So off we went and were in a down pour with thunder and lighting on the tram to the park. We went to Chocolate world first and sure enough it had stopped raining when we came out and never rained again the whole day!! Here are some pictures of our day.

OK, we may not be his real parents but we felt just as proud at the Track and Field Banquet as Tim got his Letter and certificate. This is a big deal for a kid who has never been on a track team before. In fact he did even run very much before this but he went to every practice and even with shin splints he pushed through and his hard work paid off! CONGRAT'S TIM!!!

Finally the weather turned warm and so off we went for the weekend to Raystown lake. We get up there once in a while but not nearly enough. Tim took his friend Karl and we had a really great time. Our friends Barb and George have a boat so on Sunday we went out. The air was a little cool but the water was colder....that did not stop the boys from doing there thing. They jumped off the cliffs, fished and went tubing on the jet ski. I give them big props because the water was COLD!!!

While in Florida we went to see my cousin. We had not seen them in about 10 years. Crystal was only maybe 6 or 7 years old the last time. She is really a great kid!!! We only got to spend a few hours there....but it was great! I only wish we lived closer so we could spend more time with them. Hopefully they will be able to come and visit next summer!!

Randy had a convention in Florida so we all decided to go and hang out for a few days. We had a great time. We started at the beach, then Kennedy Space Center and finally in Orlando.

OK, I know it's been a LONG time since I posted anything....I can assure you we have not fallen off the earth!! Long story short.....closed the store 28 Feb. a few days before got the stomach flu, the weekend after I closed got a cold/sinus infection. Went to France a week later....had to recover for almost a week after I returned, started helping out with critter care, a pet sitting animal care service, went to Florida, getting ready to go to New Hampshire and start school in 2 weeks. Where is Randy.....working and doing homework and taking care of the house, Tim, and the pets while I have been gone....he did go to Florida though. He took 2 accelerated classes and 1 reg. class last time and is now finishing one reg. class and started 2 more. I don't know how he does it!!

Well, I signed up today for my next new adventure! Massage Therapy school. I am very excited and a bit nervous as well. It has been a long time since I have been to school. I start at the end of May so I will do a little preparing in the mean time.

Let me set the stage....Randy is sitting on the sofa....biting his fingers, not his nails...but his fingers, Sweaty palms...almost just plain wet. Doesn't want to talk or listen just focusing on the TV. It was a GREAT game. In fact it is the 2nd all time most watched show in history. Only the last episode of MASH beat out the game. And the final out come....THE GIANT'S WIN!!!!
It was a great night. It's not just good for Randy but me as well....can you imagine what it would have been like if they lost!! yikes!! ;-)

For those who do not know...I bought a scrapbooking business a few years ago and the beginning of December I decided to close the store. There are just to many things that we would like to do and this ties us down. So...as of 28 Feb. I will be jobless and a few weeks later on a plane to France with my girls from the WB. Can't wait!! Oh and don't be sad for Randy and Tim, they will be having a good old time with out me! Plus Ran and I will be heading to Germany later in the year....to visit our German family the Lehsau's and also Tim and his family.
